The photograph on the right was taken mid-Atlantic of most of the "Maritime Memories" group, all of whom were ex-shipping staff, whether sea or shore based; ex passengers who remembered travelling on liner "line voyages"; people who were married to ex-shipping personnel or were just interested in old style passenger ships and the life aboard them. The flags were of former major and well known shipping companies |

The food on board was excellent, generous and in fact one could be fed five times a day if desired.... Every so often there would be a special dinner menu recreating the menu of a particular shipping line many years before. One such is shown above, this commemorating Canadian Pacific. There was always a Chef's Special as well as a full menu so no-one needed to go hungry. Other shipping lines featured were : Cunard White Star, South American Saint Line, Blue Star Line, Royal Mail Line, Grace Line and Booth Line |
